Data Privacy Notice and Consent

This system processes personal and biometric data for student registration and campus-security verification. You have rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What we collect. Your student number, name, school email, mobile number, self-declared campus status, password hash, consent timestamp, and biometric templates. Five temporary face captures create numerical face templates; these registration images are not saved as student profile photos.

How it is used. Templates are compared with faces detected by monitored cameras. CCTV event photos, capture times, and camera locations may be saved for review by authorized security personnel and system administrators. An unmatched face does not automatically mean a threat. If you separately opt in when filing an incident report, your school email is also used for update notifications through Brevo, with the report reference, status, updating staff display name and update date/time, not descriptions, comments or attachments. You can turn these notifications off in My Reports.

Account activation. Your account is activated after school email verification and successful face registration. No administrator approval is required. Registration does not confirm current enrollment with the registrar.

Your choice and rights. You may cancel without submitting registration data. Registration requires your consent. You may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent, or deletion, subject to applicable law. Contact the project administrator for privacy requests.

Data Privacy Disclaimer Your consent applies only to the registration and campus-security purposes described above. It does not authorize unrelated use or public disclosure of your personal and biometric data, and it does not waive your data privacy rights.
